Basics of Blog Commenting
Hi friends, I
have been constantly asked by many newbies about the role of BLOG COMMENTING in
blogging, so in this article I will be discussing some advantages of blog
commenting and also some key points to consider before you start commenting on other blogs and websites.
First of all, what is blog
commenting?
Blog comment is what that makes a
blog interactive and social. It’s nothing complicated, it is just commenting on
other blogs, engaging with the write and other readers or just simply
appreciating the post.
Now let me point out some
advantages of blog commenting. There are numerous and I may miss some, so do
comment below if I miss something.
1. Traffic. Yes friends,
blog commenting plays an important role in getting traffic to your blog. With
new plugins like Commentluv etc. you can share your post while commenting on
other blogs. If you share your post link then you may get many visits from the
blog where you commented. Commenting on some High PR blogs can get huge traffic
to your site or blog
2. Backlinks. Yes by blog
commenting you get backlinks. They may be dofollow or nofollow but as a newbie
and as a blogger try to treat every backlink the same.
3. Exposure. By consistent
blog commenting on some good blogs you get exposed well in the blogging world.
I can’t explain much on this. You will experience yourself.
4. SERP. Yes by blog
commenting, you will see increase in your search engine results. Your future
posts will get indexed on google much faster. You will see an increase on your
rankings. Thus a part of SEO is done by this.
Well there are some important
Do's and Don’ts before you start.
1. Your sole purpose to comment should
not be to get backlink or traffic, but to engage in with other bloggers too.
2. Do not spam. You should be
familiar with this word.
3. Your comment should be well
written and related to the post where you comment.
4. Do not leave negative comments.
It creates a false atmosphere.
5. Don't forget to thank the writer
for providing such great content or information.
6. Do not comment on just any post.
Comment on your topic based blogs and posts for effective results.
